Bemidji punks, we need a massive favor.
Our drummer quit right before our tour, and we need someone to step in and play our Bemidji show this Saturday, March 28th.
Slime Monsters from Outer Space is an unapologetically queercore/cosmopunk band. We are moving in a strictly queercore direction, and we are only looking to share the stage with someone who is fully embedded in our community and shares that exact lived experience and ethos.
We need someone who can learn a set fast to cover the Bemidji date. If we vibe, we also need cover for our Minneapolis show on 4/4 and have more regional dates booked throughout April and May, so this can absolutely turn into a permanent gig.
What we need from you:
• You are an active part of the queercore community.
• You actually listen to punk rock.
• You know how to communicate like a functional adult.
The business side:
This is not a paying gig. You will get an equal cut of anything we make from the door or merch, but let's be real, we probably won't make any money. If you are in this for a reliable paycheck, this isn't for you.
