Our family is putting together our Family Tree.

Our family is trying to locate our unknown, never-met, relatives around Laporte, Minnesota; Kelliher, Minnesota; and Saum, Minnesota:
Mildred (nmn) Hjelm was born in a home near Laporte, Minnesota, on January 3rd, 1921.
Mildred (nmn) Hjelm's biological father was Fred Hjelm.
Mildred (nmn) Hjelm's biological mother was Ebba Ekeblad, born March 2nd, about 1885 (1884? or 1886?), I was told in the nation of Sweden.
Mildred (nmn) Hjelm is probably the only child born to Fred Hjelm and Ebba Ekeblad. Mildred has no known brothers or sisters.

I can not find a Minnesota marriage record for Fred Hjelm and Ebba Ekeblad.
I don't know for sure if Fred Hjelm and Ebba Ekeblad were ever married, but I did find a Minnesota marriage record for Ebba Ekeblad who married a August Carlson on March 7th, 1925, in Aitkin county, Minnesota.
After August Carlson and Ebba Ekeblad were married, Mildred's name changed from Mildred Hjelm to Mildred Carlson, possibly through the marriage, and/or a child adoption process.
In 1984, Mildred stated that her step-father August Carlson committed suicide (by hanging himself in a barn) near McGrath, Aitkin county, Minnesota, in 1947 or 1948.

Now named Mildred Carlson, her step-father August Carlson and biological mother Ebba (Ekeblad) Carlson moved to McGrath, near "Dad's Corner", Aitkin county, Minnesota, about 1923-1925.
Mildred Carlson attended grade school north of McGrath, and near "Dad's Corner", Minnesota, beginning around 1926.
Mildred Carlson married Knute Johnson, at the Presbyterian Church, in Mora, Kanabec county, Minnesota, on September 4th, 1943.
Ebba (Ekeblad) Carlson lived with her daughter Mildred Ekeblad Carlson Johnson and her son-in-law Knute Johnson, in Coon Rapids, Anoka county, Minnesota, starting about 1958 until her sudden, unexpected, congestive heart failure heart-attack death, at age 77, in January, 1961.
Ebba (Ekeblad) Carlson was buried, in an unmarked grave, at the Constance Evangelical Free Church Cemetery at "Constance Corners" in Andover, Anoka county, Minnesota, in January, 1961.

Any help in building our Family Tree, and possibly meeting our "new" relatives, would be greatly appreciated!
