PRICE REDUCED. I AM SELLING ENTIRE HERD DUE TO MY HEALTH ISSUES

Entire herd of 6 Dexter, Jersey, and Belfair cows with herd bull. Asking $7000 cash only (OBO negotiable) for the entire herd of six, five cows and one breeding age bull. 6 in total: the two registered cows are most likely bred for june/july this summer, they haven't missed a season yet.they are in with the bull since they calved last july. great starter herd for getting into Belfairs and Dexters. Belfairs are still open book/purebred for registry. Look it up! that was my plan, i started with the dexters, then bred for the belfairs. herd consists of three purebred Dexter cows/heifers, two with papers, one ready to test and register, AND two yearling Belfair heifers, ready to register. and the PB Jersey bull (you could prep and process him, but he's a real sweetheart, but it's up to you what you do with him for YOUR breeding program) Dexters and the Belfair are known for breeding easily well into their teens and twentys.

(1.) 2 Step Daisy born:4/14/2016 Dun, Horned. REGISTERED WITH PAPERS Dexter. tested A2A2, HN, parentage tests qualified and included. ADCA (American Dexter Cattle Association)reg # 050908, registration included. bred for June or later in 2024 to Rudy (the Jersey bull) for another Belfair calf. Daisy is what we call a ‘three in one package’, the cow, with Belfair yearling heifer calf at side, and bred back. Not tested for pregnancy, so no absolute guarantee. she has had a calf no issues on her own every year here. her calves here are all horned, bred to the horned bull.

(2.) 2Step Blossom born: 3/28/2015. Black, polled. Registered Dexter with Purebred Dexter Cattle Association of North America, PDCA # 208399, eligible for double registration in ADCA. Have copies of both parents registration in ADCA, will include all paperwork, see below. Blossom is exposed to Rudy for 2024 Blossom is also a ‘three in one package’, the cow, with Belfair heifer calf at side, and possibly bred back. Not tested for pregnancy, so no absolute guarantee. she has had a calf no issues on her own every year here. all are polled, even by the horned bull.

(3.) 2022 heifer born 5/9/2022 Dam: 2 Step Daisy, #050908 ADCA Sire Lost River Jackster #041941 ADCA. Heifer is black, and horned. Eligible for registration in ADCA and PDCA. bred for 2024 to Rudy, our Jersey bull. Certainly exposed to him, but not tested ‘in calf’ so no guarantee. She had a heifer calf in February, on her own without help. this calf is not included in the sale, it went as a bottle baby elsewhere.

(4.) 2023 Belfair heifer, born dun, looks black now. horned. (jersey markings at birth) born 7/8/2023 dam 2 Step Daisy see above, registered ADCA, sire Rudy, PB Jersey, not registered. Eligible for registration as a Belfair. Pasture raised on mom, not handled.

(5.) 2023 Heifer born dun, looks black now. polled (jersey markings at birth) born 7/4/2023 Dam 2Step Blossom, see above, registered PDCA, Sire Rudy, unregistered PB Jersey. Eligible for registration as a Belfair. Pasture raised on mom, not handled.

(6,) Rudy, PB Jersey bull, not registered, born 4/1/2021 typical Jersey Dun coloring, horned. Rudy is a small Jersey, perfect for breeding to the Dexters to get registerable Belfairs. Not one cow has had any issues calving with him. he is very gentle, and halter broke.

The herd has been on grass/pasture since i bought them two years ago. the only grain they have had is a handful of corn to catch them for care, and i did give a little corn when it was 30 below COLD. no issues loading them for travel.

Rudy, Daisy and Blossom were handled a lot when I bought them, Blossom and Daisy had been hand milked before I got them. Rudy was/is halter broken and very gentle, he runs year round with the herd.

They have not been handled here due to my worsening health issues. they were wormed in April. My poor health is why I am selling them all. They need to go as a herd, and this is a herd price. Great starter herd for breeding, for Dexters and/or Belfairs. buy 'em all, keep what you want, sell the rest. or they could go to freezer camp. (we are keeping the 2022 steer to process soon)

I have a stock trailer and a truck, we Can deliver for a fee for gas/time and the guy I hire to drive.

Come see them if you are really interested. Thank you. texts to my cell: 218-888-200eight, i dont normally answer my cell, or check messages. my landline is 218-647-253three no texts to the landline. i do answer that line, and you can leave a message. thanks again.
