It comes with a great running 2003 60 HP MERCURY EFI 4-STROKE Motor with only 450 total hours on it that is still in Excellent Condition. All of the EFI 4-Stroke Motors are widely known to be the best outboard motors ever made. They are much quicker and easier to start, run a lot quieter, smoother and cleaner and get much better gas mileage than the older carbureted 2-stroke and 4-stroke motors. The EFI outboard motors do not have chokes (that often flood engines) and they don't have any carburetors, which frequently get fouled up and dirty over the years. Cleaning and rebuilding carburetors have been one of the most common and expensive repair costs for many used motors for many years. This outboard motor was recently checked out, tuned up, serviced and run by my Marine Mechanic. He changed the oil filter and motor oil as well as the grease in the lower unit and checked the total hours on it at that time. This boat and motor was rented out for 6 weeks this summer so it's been on several different lakes and in use. It was starting right up with a turn of the key and running exceptionally well during all of this time. It has an Extra Large Built-In Gas Tank. We put a new battery in it. This pontoon boat was originally manufactured in 1997, however, the inside of it was Refurbished in late June of 2025.
