An 8-day time-only movement (no strike or chime), operated by a key-wind mechanism and pendulum.
Features a classic oak octagonal case with drop section and the word "Regulator" stenciled in gold on the lower glass.
Verbal provenance: This clock was originally used in a one-room schoolhouse. After the school closed, the building was purchased and moved to become a chicken coop.
Condition:
Appears to work but not tested for running condition.
Oak finish has stains and scratches.
Interior mechanism appears to be quite clean.
Exposed brass or metal parts have patina.
The brass bezel has had some past repairs and is missing one clip, appears to have the original glass, and the hinge is not securely attached to the wood frame.
Dial has a 11.5” diameter paper clock face which is a little wavy. A few screws are missing.
