I could only find 3 of these 17-18 inch size statues on the entire internet. One on display in a restaurant along the Mexican border, one sold at an auction years ago and I was unable to find the final sale price but bid started at $650 and recently one sold for over $1,500 in Europe. It is hand painted, has real feathers and is very, very detailed. Some of my research led to this unique piece being linked to a Cherokee Native, however after countless hours of searching, I found an article that said it could actually even be of Sitting Bull. This is the largest made version of this statue and is larger than a gallon of milk. It was made in the 60’s and the unique part is that its brand name is just plain old “Native American”. This is not your average statue and you will never see another one. I’ve never seen a Native American sculpture/statue that can even compare to this one. It’s not like the gas station ones. This one is seriously a work of art. It is a masterpiece and I wish it was on on display up in Red Lake, BSU or the Shooting Star Casino. In fact I just might donate it if nobody buys.
