For the Aire model: main unit is 16 wide, 12 high and13 1/4 deep. The side adjustment is about a 2 inch or so but extends more but can be removed. The top frame that holds to window is 1 1/2 inch higher than main unit. It is only just to frame around the window on top. 5000 btu
The Emerson: Main unit is 20 wide, 12 1/2 high and 18 1/2 deep. The side extensions are about 2 inches each but extend further. 5100 btu
